Our Story

Yuma Fritas is a vibrant celebration of Cuban culture, inspired by the energy of Havana’s street food and a dream built around two beloved classics — Fritas and Batidos.
Our Frita is a Cuban-style burger made with spicy chorizo, beef, chicken, or fish, topped with crispy shoestring fries, and served on a soft egg bun — a bold nod to the island’s rich culinary traditions. Its perfect match, the Batido, is a tropical milkshake blended with fresh fruit and creamy vanilla ice cream, served with or without a splash of dark rum. Together, this iconic duo sparked our playful menu and years of imagining the ideal pairing.

At Yuma Fritas, our kitchen is chef-driven and rooted in the principles of the Slow Food Movement. Nearly everything is made from scratch, honoring authenticity, craftsmanship, and the soulful spirit of Cuban street cuisine.

We’re a counter-service restaurant with full service at the back bar, offering true Central American sodas and a selection of refreshing tropical cocktails.
